Client Relations Coordinator
Advocates for Immigrant Rights is seeking someone to fill the role of Client Relations Coordinator
DESCRIPTION: This position is full-time. We need someone who is fluent in both English and Spanish, organized, self-driven and motivated with the ability to identify solutions to issues as they arise. This purpose of this position is to communicate with clients directly, facilitate communicate between clients and Attorneys/Legal Representatives, and facilitate easy transfer of information, documents, payments, to and from clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Receive telephone calls and texts/messages
Advise clients on case acceptance/accept consultation fee
Communicate with clients to relay or clarify information
Communicate with clients to gather documents and information and collect on billing
Collect payments and documents from clients in person and over the phone
Process payments
Process client documents
Schedule Appointments
Conduct Intakes on the phone or in person
Conduct New Client Orientation
Take fingerprints and passport photos
Create and fill out new Client Profile for client, spouse, and children
Create invoices, accept payments/set up payment plans
Translate Documents or facilitate translation through a service
Interpret for attorneys when necessary
Provide resources to clients with particular needs
Draft and send client correspondence
Assist with filing simple applications with attorney supervision when needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Fluency in Spanish required
High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of work experience OR Associate’s Degree
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel), Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat
Willingness to help others
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Wages and Benefits
This position is paid at an hourly rate starting at $18.00 per hour, with increases upon successful demonstration of mastery of duties. Excellent benefits include health insurance coverage and generous paid time off as well as the opportunity to participate in a group SIMPLE IRA plan and federal loan forgiveness eligibility.
